i heart u Blogwear

Ok, I know I'm doing the whole New Releases on Mondays now, but my in laws were visiting over the weekend and Monday was crazy so I didn't get a chance to get this in the store yesterday. I'm kinda bummed about it, but oh, well. I hope it's not too late to make a couple sales on this. I've actually been working on it since I finished the kit, but I've been lazy about getting it in the store:P

Anyway, if any of you have a blog and want to showcase this product for me I'd really appreciate it!! Go download it from the store and let me know when you have it up on your blog.

Pretty! I would add it to my blog if I had ANY idea how to do so. I went to one of those "dummy blogger" sites that just gives you the HMTL to plug in. Otherwise, I'd have the most boring scrap blog in the world.

It has instructions with it. All you have to do it read them and copy and paste. If I can figure it out, you can! I'm pretty dumb when it comes to editing html stuff. You can check it out on my blog. Let me know what you think.

Oh geez, I'm so blog illiterate. HELP!! I've customized the banner, and saved it. But it's still a PSD file, which won't upload to Photobucket. What kind of file can I save it as that won't turn the background solid white?

Do you mean the header for the blog? You can save it as a png or jpeg. Either one should work. Then upload it to photobucket and use the image code they give you:)

Oh, duh...I just didn't read. I was trying to upload the banner instead of the background. Okay, so I got that part. Entered all the code changes and the sizes changed just fine, but the background image still didn't show up?!

I had the same problem. I use tinypic so I'm not sure all the different codes that photobucket gives you. Is there one called Direct Link for Layouts? That's the code you want to use. I was using the URL code, which wasn't working. You want it to be just the jpeg file and not [img] around it.

P.S. What's your blog address so I can check it out?

Yep, I used the direct link and it didn't like it. I'll try uploading it to tinypic and see if that makes a difference...but it'll have to wait till this evening. This day has turned into sheer madness! I have a few minutes break between coming home from lunch and leaving again to go celebrate R's birthday with my mom. I want a nap!!

That's wierd that the direct link didn;t work. Maybe try the URL then? It should work if you use the direct link from tinypic because that's what worked for me.

I know how crazy birthdays can get so have fun celebrating!! I can't wait to see pictures. Oh, and I'm working on a birthday kit now. You totally inspired me! I'm extracting stuff for elements right now and I think it's going pretty well.

AHHH!! I got the background! Now to figure out how to add the other stuff...

The tags are pretty easy. You type what you want them to say in PS or whatever program you're using. Save them to photobucket too and then upload them as a picture on the sidebar. The divider is a little harder and I actually think I forgot to put how to do that in the instructions. I can post how to do that after lunch.

Sounds easy enough. That'll definitely have to wait till later, though. Made a blog post about the blogwear in the meantime.
